Alive + Well, an integrated health and wellness center, enlisted Bloom Communications to develop and launch the Austin-based brand’s identity, messaging platform and comprehensive marketing / public relations program. Bloom partnered with Alive + Well during the business’s construction phase to drive awareness for the forthcoming next-generation wellness center, as well as garner interest in its sister brands — Hill Country Apothecary, a wellness and compounding pharmacy, and Drip Drop IV Vitamin Bar, a full service IV therapy lounge.
With the dual goals of elevating brand awareness as Austin’s first and only integrated health and wellness center and building clientele in the Greater Austin community, Bloom Communications worked as the company’s outsourced marketing communications team to establish the foundation for a highly differentiated brand of integrative health and wellness solutions. In parallel, Bloom developed a proactive PR campaign with the objective of building the brand and third-party visibility through a strategic media relations campaign.
Building the brand from the ground up, Bloom created a messaging platform to facilitate internal alignment and to serve as a foundation to inform external communications. Bloom then developed and launched the brand’s comprehensive marketing strategy and plan with the objective of driving awareness and enthusiasm ahead of the center’s opening.
Additionally, with Bloom’s support, the PR campaign spotlighting the opening of Alive + Well’s new center resulted in 19 earned media placements across Austin-area print, online and broadcast outlets, garnering 3.4 million audience impressions. Alive + Well won Austin Monthly’s Best of ATX 2018, recognized as the “Best One-Stop Shop for Wellness”, and the wellness center was selected for The Austin Chronicle’s “Best of Austin” critic’s pick in the services category. Launch coverage was featured in Austin Fit, CultureMap, Tribeza, Community Impact and KXAN’s Studio 512, among others.
